Courses with Placement Year / Advanced Practice : The UK offers some Masters degree courses that have an additional 6 months to 1 year of placement or advanced practice built into the course curriculum, which is often an optional choice for the student to select.
Post-graduate work permit: A successful applicant has 2 years to live and work in the UK with the graduate visa. Spouses are allowed to come as dependents and can work while the student is studying*.

Secondary education includes GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) – “O” level and GCE – “A” level. “O” level is equivalent to SSC (Secondary School Certificate) and “A” level (2 years) is equivalent to HSC (Higher Secondary).

Scholarships in the UK

To help students with their tuition costs and living expenses, there are a number of scholarship options which students can potentially avail of having their own requirements and eligibility criteria to be met to get such an award.

Since UK universities are largely government funded, the ability of the universities to offer scholarships is restricted. But some universities do offer scholarships based on the students merit and their academic performance during the course.

Language test eligibility criteria

IELTS minimum score of 6.5 for Postgraduate and 6.0 for Undergraduate Studies.
TOEFL minimum score of 90 (Internet Based Test) for Postgraduate and 80 (Internet Based Test) for Undergraduate Studies.
Exemption is possible if a student has scored above 70% in English language in the X and XII standard. (English Medium) & if the medium of instruction throughout school & college was English, supported with a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter.

Exams for studying in UK

Students need to pass one or more tests before they get selected by universities and colleges for admission. Students may need to appear for tests like GRE, GMAT, SAT to get into any desired university or college. Other test i.e. Language tests that are considered are TOEFL and IELTS. LNAT for law courses.
Students pursuing Foundation programs may need to give the UKVI version of the IELTS exam
Courses in the Aerospace, Mechanical and Materials side may also need an ATAS certificate
